Bountiful Technologies Ltd Explored Collaborative Opportunities with University of Ghana

In a proactive move to advance STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Computing education in Ghana, our Co-founder Seth Ogoe Ayim, PMP, MPA, MACS-CP, IP3, CITIP, a distinguished STEM Expert, led a delegation from Bountiful Technologies Ltd and Bountiful STEM Educational Foundation on a working visit to Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann, PhD, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana.

The purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaborations in various domains, including Robotics, STEM, and Computing Education, as well as Engineering academic research. Discussions also revolved around student mentorship, hosting Engineering Summits, and establishing students and faculty exchange programs with partnered universities in Sweden and the United States. These initiatives aimed to foster a pipeline of highly skilled STEM professionals in Ghana and across Africa, aligning with the goals set for the year 2024 as a year of action and acceleration in STEM and Computing Education.

Acknowledgments were extended to Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann, PhD, for her warm reception and insightful discussions. The collaboration held promise for mutual benefit and represented a significant step towards bolstering STEM education and research in the region.

Notably, the visit also served as an opportunity to celebrate the success of Jayden Tunde, a former STEM and robotics instructor with Bountiful Technologies Ltd, who had transitioned into a Material Engineering student at the School of Engineering Sciences, University of Ghana. Jayden’s journey exemplified the transformative power of STEM education and underscored the importance of nurturing talent within the local community.

As partnerships flourished and initiatives took shape, Bountiful Technologies Ltd remained committed to driving innovation and excellence in STEM education, paving the way for a brighter future for Ghana and beyond.
